David Ibáñez defines and leads ABILITY's strategy for data, AI, and end-user applications, overseeing the development of cutting-edge brain-computer interface solutions under strict medical device regulations. He brings expertise in neural signal processing, neuromodulation devices, and deep learning, with a track record of translating neuroscience solutions into clinical-grade applications. At ABILITY, he leads the software & data group. His work bridges neuroscience and engineering, ensuring that ABILITY's AI-driven solutions meets the performance, safety, usability and scalability requirements of a chronic implantable system. David holds a Ph.D. in Biomedicine and a degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
